Hide your Beagles, Vicks an Eagle!

I feel like there's been a huge oversight with this whole Michael Vick to the Eagles situation. Most of the reports I've seen focus on the whole dog fighting crimes, will he be in shape, etc. To me, there is not enough being made about the effect this will have on Donovan McNabb. Think about it. McNabb got pulled last season for Kevin Kolb. There was talk that if Kolb even played half way decent, Andy Reid would have gone with him for the rest of the year. Now McNabb, who just signed an extension this off-season, is going to have Vick looking over his shoulder and it's not a distraction to him? As we have all seen over the last decade, Donovan is prone to some bad stretches and the Eagles don't exactly have the most patient fan base in the world. With Vick most likely to be suspended for a a handful of games, this issue may or may not arise in 2009, but if McNabb puts together a few clunkers later this year or in 2010...hide your dogs Philly.
